How to reach The Notice Board, and what the board can and cannot answer about a Scottish parish's archived record.
The board reads a finished record. It cannot put you in touch with the congregation, and it holds no service times to attend, no hall to book, and no parish office.
What the board can answer
A slip that misquotes the public record, a date pinned wrong, a page of the old site that deserves a place on the board and has none: these are the board's business. Corrections are welcome and are pinned as corrections.
What the board cannot answer
Baptisms, weddings, funerals, pastoral care, hall hire and the present life of the congregation belong to the congregation itself. The record this board reads ended in 2015; nothing here speaks for what came after.
Where the board lives
The board keeps its own record at this address and nowhere else. It has no parish office, no telephone, and no notice time on Sundays.
